Wie komme ich zur Willie Creek Pearl Farm?
This getaway includes transport to and from Broome. You will get picked up from your Broome accommodation in our air-conditioned coach. The pindan track to the farm is corrugated and passengers will experience the traditional ‘Kimberley Massage’.
What clothes do you recommend packing for this getaway?
Casual lightweight/quick-dry clothing is recommended for the boat and excursions. Please don’t forget a hat, and ensure to pack your swimsuit for the spa. Barra Shack is casual dining and no formal wear is required. Footwear is not mandatory on the houseboat, however can be worn if you so choose. Footwear such as thongs are a good example.
What personal items should I bring?
You will be required to bring your own toiletries and any relevant medications and vitamins. Barra Shack is a very stable boat, located in sheltered water of Willie Creek. However, motion sickness preventative is recommended to bring on board if you are concerned about getting motion sickness. A hairdryer, shampoo,conditioner and soaps are supplied in the bathrooms. Sun protection and insect repellent are available on board but you may wish to bring your own. Bathroom towels are provided. In the unlikely event of an emergency we have a medical kit on board.
The Barra Shack is equipped with 240V electricity with each cabin having power outlets. Don’t forget your camera and any relevant chargers and/or batteries. Please pack your luggage as light as possible for easy storage in the coach.

Dogs are not permitted on our tours or decking area at Willie Creek Pearl Farm. Please be aware and cautious of the resident crocodiles in Willie Creek and other native fauna including reptiles. If you have a guide dog, please contact our team at [email protected] ahead of booking.
What food and drink is provided?
Complimentary soft drinks (Sodastream), juice as well as tea and coffee facilities with a coffee machine are available 24 hours.
A continental and cooked breakfast, fresh fruit bowl and cookies available all day, morning tea, lunch, sunset nibbles and plated dinner with dessert all included. We also cater for any dietary requirements (please advise on your booking form).
All alcohol is to be pre-ordered and paid in full 10 days prior to tour departure. You will be required to place an order with us and make the payment after we have done the order. Our staff will arrange collection and delivery of your order. No alcohol can be taken on the day of departure.
Do you provide fishing equipment?
High quality fishing equipment is available for passengers to use. Please feel free to bring your personal favourite lures on board.
Should I take out travel insurance for my trip?
We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance that covers you against any unforeseen circumstances. Kimberley Getaway are not responsible for any loss or damage i.e. baggage, personal items and injuries. Travel insurance will need to be arranged prior to your departure.
Is this experience suitable for children?
While we love welcoming kids onto our Willie Creek Pearl Farm tours, this adventure getaway experience is only suitable for adults.
